yourself enter your criteria and search for suitable proposals, and all
profiles on Lagnagaath include full details of the members, including contact
details so that you can email, telephone and personally meet each other
according to your convenience. eSakal does not mediate in any way or suggest
any profiles, it provides a platform for putting up your profile and viewing
other profiles in a convenient way.
By using this site, you can reach out to Maharashtrians
from all over the world, and also find eligible/interested parties from
anywhere, without having all the initial problems of preliminary contacts to
determine suitability. |

| On the main search page of Lagnagaath (Home Page or
‘mukhya paan’) please click on ‘All Profiles’ or on ‘Search’ to get a list of
profiles. Then click on any profile number.
A pop-up will open showing the details of that profile.In case you have blocked all pop-ups, please
unblock them for the Lagnagaath website, or unblock when clicking on profiles. |

| You need to register on Lagnagaath to be able to see all
details of the profiles.Once you
register, you will get a User Name and Password, using which you can Login to
the site.All details such as the full
name, the address, email and phone number, and the member’s expectations will
be visible once you log in. |

| The normal fees for Lagnagaath are Rs.300/- per year.If you register online with your credit
card, the fees are Rs.350/- per year because of additional on-line processing
charges.If you advertise in the
matrimonial section of any print edition of Sakal, you can register for a
special discounted rate of Rs.100/- for a year by quoting the receipt number and
edition of your ad, provided the ad is in the name of the same candidate. |

| Why do you ask for Identification Documents? |
| When approaching someone for matrimonials, one needs as much information as possible and an assurance that the information is reliable. For that reason eSakal asks you to send a Xerox or scan of a Photo-Id such as a license or Id Card, and a Xerox /scan of a proof of address such as an electricity bill. |

| Will my profile be uploaded if I don’t send support documents? |
A color photo must accompany your profile, and can be submitted by email or by post, or can be uploaded with your online entry. The identification documents are now optional, but we recommend that you send them so that other members can approach you with trust.
The profile will be uploaded as soon as we receive the filled-in form, the photo and the payment of Rs.300/- only (Rs.350/- if online). |

Along with the form, please send a full face color photo 4” x 6” and a DD for Rs.300/- only in the name of Sakal Papers Ltd., payable at Pune.

| What data should I give in the form? |
| When going through a profile, it helps the candidate if complete information is available on the prospective profile. Along with your personal details, we have allotted space for entering some lines describing yourself, and for your expectations.
If you would like to make use of this space, it will afford the reader a better picture of you as a person. |

| In which language should I fill the form? |
| The profile is uploaded in both English and Marathi. You may enter your details in any one of these languages, and they are translated into the other language before upload. If you like you can submit your information in both languages to avoid errors in expression. If you fill the form online, you have to fill it in English, but you can send any Marathi write-ups as an attachment on a separate email to lagnagaath@esakal.com, quoting your User Name. |

| Yes, this facility is available, but please be sure to remember your User Id, allotted to you when you enter your details. Please write the User Id and your full name at the back of the DD before mailing it, so that we are able to find the form when we get the DD. |

| Once you enter your details and make your payment, your profile is checked and translated at eSakal, and uploaded onto the site. A computer-generated Password is then sent to you. | No, this password is a temporary password for accessing
your registration form until you finish your registration procedure.In case you are not able to complete the
full procedure at one time, you can come back to it later by entering your User
Name and Password on the registration pages.This password cannot be used for the main Lagnagaath site. |

| When you open the main page (‘mukhya paan’) of Lagnagaath, there is a search engine where you can select your criteria. Choose ‘Bride’ or ‘Groom’ and click on ‘All Profiles’ or choose the criteria and click on ‘Search’. You will see a list of profiles.
Click on the profile of your interest to see more details. If you want to see complete details of any profile, including contact details, you must register on Lagnagaath, and get an official user-name and password. This is explained above. |

| I am registered and have received a password but cannot log in |
| Please use the home page of Lagnagaath at http://www.lagnagaath.com for logging in. The log-in facility on the registration page will not work for entering the site, you must go to the home page. If you still have a problem, try closing the window and reopening the site in a fresh window. |

| I am registered and have logged in and still cannot see the complete details |
| If you have been sent a password by the Lagnagaath service, and have logged in to the main site using this, you should see a page with your UserName on the right hand side and ‘View Profile’ and other options under it. There is a box in which you can enter any profile number, and then click on ‘Get Profile’. A pop-up will show the full profile
You can use the search engine to get a list of profiles, then click on any profile number to see the full profile. In case you get a partial profile, and the full profile is not displayed, please close the profile pop-up window and try again. |
